Wild Berry Smoothie

Now there is simply nothing more satisfying than great nourishment for the mind, body and soul than wild foraged food, the sea and sun 😀.

We were on our way back from the sea when my little wild forager of a son excitedly pointed out a blackberry bush, which happened to be next to an elderberry bush and after we collected our bounty we also stumbled upon a passion fruit bush.

These bushes were all next to roads and easily accessible to everyone plus they are FREE, WILD and bursting with awesomeness.

At home I have a little hemp plant growing and so we plucked some leaves  and added them to the mix.

Ingredients:

  • Wild blackberries, elderberries and passion fruit.
  • 5 hemp leaves
  • 3 bananas
  • 1 kale leaf
  • Mixed frozen berries (I do this to give the smoothie a chill factor)
  • 1/2 tsp of wild honey
  • Filtered water

Turn on your blender and watch as the colours and aromas burst out at you, serve as you wish and enjoy a wild berry bliss.
