Crunchy Peanut Butter with Cacao and Honey on Fig and Walnut Bread

Well the title sums it up and tells you exactly what went down. What it does not tell you is why!

We were on a family day out at the park and well one hour passes and then another and before you know it gone is the day, then comes the journey home and that final moment you get through your door into your home and realise that your belly is half full at best; your a bit depleted and so you want something quick and hey presto that’s where this little number comes to life.

Grab your locally fermented and very scrummy Walnut and Fig Loaf cut two slices, the first layer is honey then you add the cacao powder followed in quick succession by the crunchy peanut butter (has to be crunchy for me) and then add a sprinkle of mixed spice on top because its yummy and its the season for it.

Dive in don’t be shy and enjoy every mouthful ahhhh simples.
